During my stay at Hotel Son Vilar in Es Castell, I was impressed by the ease of checking in and out online. The hotel was also conveniently available on WhatsApp for any inquiries or assistance. Another great aspect was its location, as it was only a 20-minute walk from both the center of Mahon and Es Castell.

Although there were a few drawbacks, such as the lack of a lock on the bathroom door and the hotel not being well-connected with public transport, these minor issues did not significantly impact my overall experience. The convenience of a short taxi ride, approximately 7 minutes, to the city center made up for this.

It was good time in Es Castell. We didn't have time, so stayed here only for 1 night, however everything was brand-new. Its location around 10-15 minutes walk from Isla del Rey was quiet.

As those taking off early, we loved the convenience of having a bus stop just a minute away from the hotel, making it easy to explore Mao. The hotel staff was incredibly helpful, accommodating our needs and going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The rooms were spotless and the amenities provided, such as the small pool on the roof and the toiletries in the room, were appreciated. The location, away from touristy areas but still within a short drive to Mahon and a 15-minute walk to Cala Fonts, was ideal for us.

Self check-in and check-out made the process easy, and we felt secure with the locked entry using codes. The location was great, just a 10-15 minute walk to Mahon and a short taxi ride from the airport. Finding parking was surprisingly hassle-free with options available on the square in front of the hotel or nearby streets. The small bar in front of the hotel served a delicious breakfast. The rooftop pool, although shallow, provided a refreshing spot to relax. The room was very comfortable, with stylish interiors and a large mirror. we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Son Vilar.

During our Christmas stay, we appreciated the high standard of cleanliness in the room, which was well-maintained by the housekeeping staff. The location of the hotel was also a plus, as it was within a 10-15 minute walk to Mahon and a short 10-minute drive from the airport. we enjoyed the refreshing rooftop pool and the efficient functioning of the air conditioning in the room.

There were a few aspects that we did not enjoy during our stay. there were no disposable cups or glasses provided in the room, which was inconvenient.

We had a great stay at Son Vilar! The self check-in and self check-out process was very convenient, and the hotel was clean and modern. The staff was incredibly helpful, even providing out of hours assistance when we had trouble with the entry code. We could easily communicate with them via WhatsApp, and the hotel was within walking distance of the center of Mahon and Es Castell. it was excellent value for money and we enjoyed the added bonus of a lovely pool on the roof.

The availability of staff was limited, so sometimes there was no one to help us with any questions or concerns. , there were no extra services offered on-site, such as breakfast or vending machines, which would have been nice to have during our stay.

I loved that there was a small bar right across from the hotel for breakfast. The rooftop pool, although not deep, was a great way to cool off. The air conditioning in the room worked perfectly. a great value for the money and I would definitely go back!
